Question 1

What is ClipMixAI?

Question 2

Do I need video editing experience?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! ClipMixAI handles everything automatically — from lyrics analysis to image generation to animation. You just provide a song and optional reference photos.

Question 3

How long does it take to create a video?

Accepted Answer

A typical video takes about 10–15 minutes to process, depending on song length and animation quality. You'll get an email as soon as it's ready.

Question 4

What do I get when I sign up?

Accepted Answer

New accounts receive bonus credits to try the platform. You can use them to create videos, generate AI songs, or generate AI images. No credit card required.

Question 5

What audio formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

We support MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, and most common audio formats. Files are automatically converted for processing.

Question 6

Can I generate songs with AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes! ClipMixAI includes a built-in AI song generator. Choose a genre, mood, describe a theme, and get a unique song with vocals and lyrics — ready to turn into a video. Songs up to 90 seconds are billed per second — 96 credits for 30s, 192 for 60s, 288 for 90s — and longer songs are a flat 60 credits. Maximum length is 4 minutes.

Question 7

How are lyrics detected?

Accepted Answer

Our AI automatically transcribes lyrics with precise timing from any audio file. The timestamps are used to sync scenes with the music.

Question 8

Can I use songs without lyrics?

Accepted Answer

Currently, ClipMixAI works best with songs that have vocals and lyrics, since scenes are generated based on lyric content and timing.

Question 9

What resolution are the videos?

Accepted Answer

Low-tier videos are rendered at 1280×720 and Premium at 1920×1080 Full HD, both in MP4 format. You can choose 16:9 landscape (YouTube, TV), 9:16 portrait (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), 1:1 square (Instagram, Facebook), 4:5 (Instagram Feed) or 2:3 (Pinterest). Compatible with all major platforms.

Question 10

What's the difference between the Low and Premium quality bundles?

Accepted Answer

The wizard has one dial — the Quality Bundle. Low is the budget bundle: 720p, smooth motion, the standard image model, and no singing lip-sync. Premium renders native Full HD 1080p with cinematic motion (Kling 3.0) and the top-tier image model, and unlocks the optional singing lip-sync add-on. Either way you can upscale the finished video to 1080p or 4K afterwards.

Question 11

Are there watermarks on the videos?

Accepted Answer

No. All videos you create are watermark-free and yours to keep.

Question 12

Can I use the videos commercially?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can use your generated videos for personal and commercial purposes — YouTube, social media, music promotion, etc.

Question 13

Can I edit scene images after they're generated?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can review every scene image before finalizing. Drag and drop to swap images, delete an image, or regenerate a new one.

Question 14

What is Character mode?

Accepted Answer

Character mode keeps the same face consistent across all AI-generated scenes. Upload a reference face photo and our AI generates every scene image with that face. Pricing: Fast ~32 credits/scene or Quality ~64 credits/scene, plus animation cost.

Question 15

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

ClipMixAI uses a credit-based system. Each action costs a certain number of credits. You can purchase credit packs from the pricing page. $1 = 100 credits.

Question 16

Do credits expire?

Accepted Answer

No — your credits never expire, so use them whenever you're ready. Separately, an unfinished video left at an approval step for 30 days closes on its own, and every credit that job was still holding goes straight back to your balance. That applies to free and paying accounts alike, and any activity on the draft resets the clock.

Question 17

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

We accept all major credit/debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay through our secure Stripe payment gateway.

Question 18

Are there volume discounts on credits?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The more you buy, the bigger the bonus. For example: $10 = 1,100 credits (+10%), $50 = 7,500 credits (+50%), up to $100 = 20,000 credits (+100% bonus).

Question 19

Can I use a coupon or promo code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter your coupon code on the pricing page before checkout. Coupons may give a percentage discount, bonus credits, or a fixed credit bonus.

Question 20

How does the daily check-in bonus work?

Accepted Answer

Log in and claim your daily bonus for 5 consecutive days to earn up to 1,000 free credits: Day 1 = 50, Day 2 = 100, Day 3 = 150, Day 4 = 200, Day 5 = 500.

Question 29

Can I publish directly to TikTok, Pinterest, or YouTube?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Connect your social accounts under Settings → Connected Accounts. For any other platform, use the share buttons or download the MP4 and upload it yourself.

Question 30

Accepted Answer

Face consistency lives in Character mode. Upload a reference face photo and every scene is generated with that face, at 32 credits per scene on Standard images and 64 on Premium. If you add face-bearing photos to an Animated video we switch it to Character mode for you — there is no separate Face Lock add-on to buy.

Question 35

What is Montage, and what are Beat Cut and TikTok cut?

Accepted Answer

Montage turns your own clips and photos into a finished video. The standard storyboard adds AI scene transitions and works in any aspect ratio; Beat Cut joins your clips as they are and cuts them to a track we generate; TikTok cut lets the AI watch your footage, write the song and cut on every beat, repeating strong moments so the result isn't limited by how much you uploaded (up to 180 seconds). Beat Cut and TikTok cut are vertical only — 9:16 or 1:1.

Question 36

Can I turn one long video into shorts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Shorts Repurpose watches your video, picks the best moments, reframes them to 9:16 and burns in captions. You upload the file (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV or AVI, up to 30 minutes) — pasting a YouTube link does not work, because those platforms block downloading. It costs 150 credits for the analysis, 100 credits per short you render, and 30 to re-render one.

Question 37

What is FaceCast?

Accepted Answer

FaceCast puts your face into a ready-made template video with the lip-sync already handled. Pick a template, upload a face photo, and you get a personalised clip without building anything from scratch. You need the right to use the face you upload.

Question 38

I don't know what to make — where do I start?

Accepted Answer

Start from a template. There are 25 curated ones — cinematic, retro, anime, vibrant, memory, anthem and lyric — and clicking one pre-fills the create wizard with the right mode, aspect ratio, duration and visual style.

Question 39

Do you have an affiliate program?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You earn 20% of every payment your referrals make during their first 9 months — not just their first purchase. A 60-day first-party cookie attributes signups to you, payouts are monthly via PayPal, and there is no cap. Applications are reviewed.

Question 40

Is there an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Scoped bearer keys, the same credit wallet as the web app, Idempotency-Key support, and signed webhooks per key. Sandbox keys never call the providers and never charge credits, so they are safe in CI.

Question 41

Where can I find tutorials?

Visit our Blog for step-by-step guides and video tutorials on every feature — from creating your first video to using Character mode and Brand Video Creator.
