1. Acceptance of Terms

By using ClipMixAI, you accept these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ClipMixAI is an AI-powered music-video, song, brand-video, and avatar creation platform. Our services include: AI video generation (Animated, Character with face consistency — Solo or Group, and Slideshow modes), one-click Fast Mode video creation, AI song composition (lyrics, vocals, instrumentals) with a My Songs library and an optional voice-cloned singing tier, audio trimming, screenplay/visual script creation, AI voiceover and ad-spot creation, brand-video and ad-spot generation from your website (Brand Kit / sitemap discovery), Avatar Studio (talking-head and lip-sync avatars), FaceCast templates, video translation and dubbing (with optional speaker-voice preservation), and social-media publishing (Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram). You upload audio files, photos, video clips, or website URLs, and the AI creates the requested content.

3. User Account

  • You must provide a valid email to register
  • You are responsible for maintaining your password
  • New accounts start with 0 credits
  • You can delete your account at any time

4. Credits & Payments

  • 1 credit = 1 GPU second. $1 = 100 credits. Animated: 240 cr/min base × Low (4.5×) or Premium (8.4×) bundle. Slideshow: 80 cr/min. Image surcharge per scene: 16 cr (Standard) or 32 cr (Premium). Character Solo: 32 cr/scene (Standard) or 64 cr/scene (Premium). Character Group: 32 cr/scene (Standard or Premium, multi-face). AI Song Generation: 60–288 cr per song (per-second 4× for ≤90s ElevenLabs short songs with a 60-cr floor; flat 60 cr for >90s MiniMax long songs). Brand Video: 1,140–7,660 cr (25–180s tiers). Singing Lip-Sync add-on: +1,276 cr/min of video.
  • Credits are non-refundable after successful video creation
  • In case of creation failure, the credit is automatically refunded
  • Prices may change — you will be notified in advance
  • Payments are processed through Stripe

5. User Content

  • You retain ownership of the files you upload
  • You warrant that you have the right to use the audio and photos you upload
  • We are not responsible for copyright violations from user content
  • Using the service for illegal, offensive, or harmful content is prohibited
  • By connecting your TikTok account, you agree to comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from the Dashboard
  • By connecting your Facebook Page or Instagram account for publishing, you agree to comply with Meta's Terms of Service and Community Standards. You can disconnect at any time from the Dashboard or by removing ClipMixAI from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
  • By connecting your Pinterest account for publishing, you agree to comply with Pinterest's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You can disconnect at any time from the Dashboard
  • Voice cloning (for AI singing, avatar talking-head, or speaker-preserving translation) is opt-in. By enabling it, you confirm that the recorded voice is yours, or that you have explicit permission from the voice owner. You may not clone the voice of another person without their consent or use cloned voices to defame, defraud, or impersonate anyone. We retain a copy of your consent recording as a legal record and you can revoke consent and request deletion at any time from Settings or via privacy@clipmixai.com
  • Brand kits and brand-video scripts generated from a website URL you provide are based on publicly accessible pages (sitemap.xml, homepage, about). You confirm that you have the right to use the brand assets you submit and to generate marketing materials based on them. We are not responsible for trademark or branding claims arising from URLs you submit
  • Shorts Studio repurpose accepts a source video URL (YouTube, Vimeo, direct MP4) which we download, transcribe and excerpt into vertical clips. You warrant that you own the source content, have a license to use it (including fair use / fair dealing where applicable), or that the content is in the public domain. You are solely responsible for any copyright, trademark, publicity-rights or platform-policy claims arising from sources you submit and from clips you publish through our connected-accounts flow. We honour DMCA takedown notices at copyright@clipmixai.com and may delete your derivative shorts on receipt of a valid notice

6. Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ClipMixAI to create, upload, or distribute any of the following:

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content promoting self-harm
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Deepfakes, non-consensual impersonation, or misleading depictions of real persons
  • Content that promotes illegal activities, terrorism, or fraud
  • Child exploitation or endangerment material of any kind
  • Spam, malware distribution, or attempts to circumvent platform safety systems
  • Uploading photos of minors (children) as face references in Character mode. Our system uses automated age estimation to detect and block such uploads

We use automated AI-based content moderation to detect and block prohibited content. Flagged content may be rejected before or during video generation. No refund is owed for content blocked by our safety systems.

Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

7. AI-generated Content

The videos created contain AI-generated images, animations, and optionally AI-composed songs with vocals. These are based on the song lyrics, your photos, and your creative inputs. We do not guarantee specific results, as the AI produces unique content each time. AI-generated songs are created using third-party AI music services.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The service is provided "as is"
  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability
  • We are not responsible for data loss
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time through the Dashboard.

10. Analytics & Tracking

We use Google Analytics 4 (with Google Signals) and session-based behavioral tracking to understand how visitors use our platform. Analytics data is only collected with your explicit consent via our cookie banner. Demographic data (age, gender, interests) is collected in aggregated form through Google Signals. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time. Support chat conversations are logged and may be reviewed to improve service quality. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens.

API usage

Our public API at api.clipmixai.com/api/v1 is governed by these Terms in addition to the dedicated rules below. By creating an API key you accept the rules in this section.

Acceptable use. You may not (a) redistribute or resell the API as a competing service without a written agreement, (b) automate workflows that violate the terms of any third- party platform we forward content to (YouTube, etc.), (c) use the API to generate content that violates our content rules above, or (d) use API responses to train competing models.

Rate limits and abuse. Each key has a default rate limit (60 requests per minute). We reserve the right to lower the limit, suspend, or revoke any key that triggers our abuse detection (e.g. clustered authentication failures from a single IP, or sustained 4xx error rates indicative of brute-force scanning).

Billing. API requests consume credits from the same wallet as the web app at the rates published on our pricing page. Sandbox keys (sk_test_) do not charge credits. Refunds for failed jobs follow the standard refund logic documented in our credit system. Tiered API plans, when introduced, will be added by amendment to these Terms.

Webhooks. If you configure a callback URL, you authorise us to POST signed event notifications (job.completed, job.failed, webhook.test) to that URL. We retry transient failures with exponential backoff and stop after four attempts. You are responsible for the security of the endpoint and for verifying the HMAC signature in the X-ClipMix-Signatureheader.

Versioning. v1 is stable: we will not introduce breaking changes inside /api/v1/. Any change that breaks an existing field shape ships under /api/v2/with a transition period announced in the changelog.
